Terms and Conditions

Terms of payment

Full payment must be completed before the start of the course. After an application form is completed and a student successfully on the course a deposit is required. Parents then have the option to pay off the balance entirely or in instalments. 

Cancellation Policy

• 8 weeks before course start date: 90% of booking retained

• 6-8 weeks before course start date: 75% refund 

• 4-6 weeks before course start date: 50% refund

• 2-4 weeks before course start date: 20% refund

• 0-2 weeks before course start date: 0% refund

No reimbursements can be made for late arrivals and early departures regardless of reasons.

Travel

There are various ways travel can be organised. Some groups book through schools and coaches can be organised. Older students can also make their own way to the location independently. There is also the option for students to be accompanied by Reviseaway staff and travel insurance is included but it is recommended parents also get their own if their child is travelling with valubables. 

Medical Insurance

Reviseaway staff have had first aid and epipen training but it is also recommended that parents have medical insurance for their child especially when abroad. There are local hospitals within easy access of Reviseaway locations for any emergency when medical assistance is needed.  

Liability

Reviseaway cannot be responsible for services not under our control. Reviseway cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs, dissatisfaction, harm loss, damage, injury, incident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity arising from the actions or oversights of any company, entity, or individuals involved in executing such arrangements or bookings, or in transporting any clients, unless directly caused by proven negligence or a demonstrated lack of care by Reviseaway. Each booking is accepted with the understanding of the terms set forth by these external entities or agencies, and any grievances related to such issues must be addressed to the relevant principal.

Privacy Policy

As part of your reservation process, Reviseway requests some personal information from you. Rest assured, your data is securely stored in our booking system, fully compliant with GDPR. We strictly adhere to a policy of never sharing your data with any third party. You retain the right to request deletion of any personal data at any time. Remote payments are facilitated either via telephone or through Stripe, a trusted and accredited online payment platform. This system ensures the security of your transactions; we do not have access to any card details, as they are not stored or visible to us. With parental consent only Reviseaway reserves the right to use any photographs, videos artwork, etc, featuring the children and young people for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website and social media.

Legal requirements

The following are strictly forbidden by law:

• Any consumption of alcohol, drugs, smoking or banned substances.

• This also includes bringing any of these in suitcases or buying overseas.

• Websites or films not suitable for under 18s.

• Violence, sexual harassment, racism or any other form of discrimination.

Code of Conduct

• Try to Speak French, Italian or any other language being taught as much as possible

• Adhere to the schedule of the retreat, lessons, or activities.

• Show respect towards staff, teachers, activity leaders, and fellow classmates.

• Treat the environment (buildings, equipment, and materials) with respect.

• Behave politely and courteously towards individuals outside and inside the hotel.

• Follow all safety regulations at all times.

• Use electronic devices (mobile phones) reasonably during free time and in accordance with staff instructions.

• Swearing, offensive language, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

• Bullying will not be tolerated.

Mobile Phones

There is a strict mobile phone policy which is in line with the company values. The policy is carefully considered to ensure both the wellbeing of students and the safety in their time away. There is an emergency number parents can call at any time as there will be times during activities, meals and lessons where phones will be encouraged to be put away. For safety reasons phones are not allowed during certain activities. There will be times to use phones to contact home and take pictures and staff will also monitor that the time is not excessive and that no student is isolating themselves.   

Complaints

Should any issues arise during your child's course, please promptly reach out to Reviseaway. We're committed to addressing concerns and will make every effort to resolve them satisfactorily. To ensure timely resolution, please raise complaints within a reasonable timeframe while your child is still enrolled; complaints made after departure cannot be considered.

Please direct complaints to an appropriate member of the team or Francesca directly. It's important to note that complaints regarding weather conditions or resort opening times/dates, as they are beyond our control, cannot be accommodated.

We kindly ask that all complaints be communicated with respect and consideration towards staff. Any instances of discourteous or disrespectful communication will not be tolerated.
